The Throwball Federation of India is the apex national body responsible for the development, promotion and governance of the sport of Throwball across the country. The federation works with a vision to expand the reach of this fast-growing sport and create opportunities for players from grassroots to national and international levels.
Through the dedicated efforts of the Throwball Federation of India, the sport has grown into one of the most popular regional games in the country. The federation works closely with 28 State and Union Territory Throwball Associations, which actively organize championships, coaching programs and talent development initiatives at district, state and national levels to strengthen the sport’s foundation across India.
Throwball is widely regarded as one of India’s prominent regional sports. In fact, India is considered the global hub of Throwball, with the sport’s major development, administration and competitive structure centered in the country.
Due to India's strong organizational structure and talent pool, the nation continues to play a leading role in the global promotion and development of Throwball.
Today, millions of players and sports enthusiasts are directly and indirectly connected with the Throwball Federation of India, making it one of the most vibrant and rapidly growing sporting communities in the country. Through national championships, coaching camps, school and university programs and international participation, the federation is continuously working to strengthen the foundation of the sport and inspire the next generation of athletes.
With a commitment to discipline, teamwork and sporting excellence, the Throwball Federation of India strives to transform Throwball into a widely recognized sport not only in India but across the world.
